                                Review

"Blood and Honey" is the continuation of the book "Bird and Serpent" that I started the year 2022 reading, and what can I say about this second book? Simply fantastic and I was not prepared for the outbreaks of this wonderful book.

After the incident at Modraniht, Lou, Reid, Coco and Ansel are on the run from not only the Dames Blanches coven, but also the kingdom and the church. They have now become real fugitives and need a shelter to guarantee their protection and safety.

To survive, they will not only need accomplices, but strong allies who want to take revenge on their common enemy.

But what happens is that we have a lot of strange happenings, scary deaths of children and the despair of not knowing what your own mother is up to. All this makes our little girl strange and the dark side of her magic manifests itself more and more often.

Reid, dogged, doesn't seem inclined to abandon his promise. Always loyal and united to Lou, his vows were undeniable: wherever she goes, he goes. Until death do them part.

What is Morgane le Blanc up to against her own daughter and Reid? What do you think will happen?

"Blood and Honey" was a pleasant surprise for me. I started this reading one of these days and can you believe I finished it in 3 days?

I couldn't stop reading this book at all, because the premise is very engaging and we always want to know what will happen on the next page.

We have a total of 514 pages here, and I only stopped reading when I finally got to the last page and I have to say: WHAT END WAS THIS MDS? I finished the book totally shocked at the twists and turns that caught me off guard, and so far I'm shocked by all the discoveries and already looking forward to reading the third and final book of this PERFECT trilogy.

Author Shelby Mahurin's writing and narrative was simply phenomenal, captivating, fast, fluid, intense, shocking, mysterious and engaging. There's no way not to get involved with this phenomenal premise!

If you, dear reader, love a well-written fantasy, with several plot twists, mysteries and a perfect romance, I strongly recommend "Blood and Honey".
